The services to be provided to increase food production and house income include the following but not limited to others; distribution of hand tools (hoe, panga, axes), both improved and indigenous planting materials, equipping farmers with modern farming methods, and knowledge and skills of managing pests and diseases, soil fertility maintenance and soil erosion and weed control.
